You’ve heard of tech accelerators, where tech startups get support as they launch and grow? We consider COCO a dream accelerator. We want to help you discover and pursue your dream.

Sure, we’ve got desks and chairs and meeting rooms. if you simply need a place to work or meet, please join us. There’s a place for you and your talents. But understand that a bigger game’s afoot. And you could find yourself being seduced by it!

Every day, there are people at COCO who are choosing for the first time to trust their gut and take chances, based on nothing more than sheer grit (and some encouragement from other members). It’s intoxicating to be around. So much so, that countless members join COCO as workers and soon become dreamers, creators and doers themselves.

Our aspiration:

Prosperity for all

Our mission:

To inspire and enable people to live out their dreams.

Our Beliefs

Be abundant.

Never accept that there are limited resources. Or that there is only one way to solve the challenge at hand. Rather, look for ways to reframe the question, rethink the problem and work with others to generate something entirely new.

Bring your full self.

Guess what? We’re all a little weird. So, don’t hide or suppress your difference. Own it. Bring it. Every day. Remember, the future belongs to those of us crazy enough to be original.

Collaborate aggressively.

Don’t just work with people like you. True collaboration means working with people who see the world differently – perhaps radically so. Collaboration is most powerful when it brings together complementary, even conflicting skills, resources and perspectives.

Err on the side of action.

Start with good intentions. Develop clever ideas. Get feedback. But don’t stop there. Only action – starting, making, doing, risking – will create the future you imagine.

Choose to scare yourself.

Say yes because it’s new territory. Commit before you know how. Go higher, faster or bigger than you thought you could. Scary is where the most interesting things happen.

Think exponentially.

Build growth into your plans. Growth will test your ideas, stretch your skills and take you to new, unexpected places. Then ask: what would happen if your idea was ten times bigger? A hundred or a thousand times bigger? Dare to think beyond your scope. The only thing in your way is you.

What inspires you?

Anything that reminds me how big and mysterious the world is, and how little of it we truly understand. It’s that line from Hamlet: “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”

Marketing Manager

What’s your why?
I believe in people, creativity and the power of ideas. I also believe each individual has the potential to be the catalyst by which others unlock their full potential. These beliefs inform my interactions with those I work with, meet and connect with each day.

Big thing I’m working on…
Imagine a world where you actually live the life of your dreams. A place where students are taught to explore and follow dreams, and where adults actively discuss and pursue those dreams. And where the word dream is not a fuzzy thing you do while doing nothing, but instead is a active agent that inspires you to action and inspires those around you.

Director of Marketing & Communications

What inspires you?

Genuine connections. Every day, we have the opportunity to interact with so many different people in various places. What may seem like a small, simple occurrence or conversation at first can end up having a significant impact on our lives. Discovering those moments – which seem increasingly fleeting – often results in experiences that I find deeply inspiring and rewarding.

What inspires you?

Living each day like it’s my last.  Chasing my dreams, celebrating the wins and aiming for the impossible. Learning to love the journey of life and being happy, while bringing happiness to others and helping them succeed.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by the unending need to do more. To be more, to learn more, to take risks, to start something I don’t know anything about. Watching others jump into the void is thrilling and it makes me wonder what I can do next that will be uncomfortable at first, but will ultimately bring me joy to accomplish. I never want to settle in a comfort zone, I want to forever move forward.

What inspires you?

I am most inspired by people coming together and finding a way to apply their interests and passions to make their community better, happier, and lighter hearted – some of my favorites include art sled rally, empty bowls, Powderhorn 24, and open streets.

What big thing are you working on?

Trying to not let my passions fall to the wayside.  Too often, I let work and routines distract me from my hobbies and passion projects.  I’m working on not only focusing on these things more, but making a conscious effort to integrate them into my daily life.

What’s your why?

Happiness. That might sound cliche, but it’s the simple and straightforward guiding force behind everything I do. If something isn’t going to bring happiness in the long run, then it’s not for me.

What’s your next big thing?

I’ve always wanted to try my hand at stand-up comedy. Spending time around the many dreamers and doers at COCO has inspired me to go for it!

What’s your why?

When asked what he thought young people should do with their lives, Vonnegut said “The most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.” This pretty much sums it up! Everyone has experienced loneliness. But for everyone to also have an opportunity to experience community, support, and connectedness? This is something I’ll be in hot pursuit of, both personally and professionally, for a lifetime.

What big idea are you working on?

Working with the 612 Sauna Society to elevate urban sauna culture to new heights @ roughly 150 degrees a pop. In tandem, creating mobile vessels that bring sauna, camaraderie, showers, & a clean sense of dignity to anyone in MSP who might otherwise not have access to gettin’ all gussied up, zen-ed out, and/or rejuvenated at a fundamental level.

A community of dreamers, creators and doers
